$12 tickets at the door first come first served . Cash and Venmo accepted at the door (fees apply for venmo).

What is For the Record?
We thought you'd never ask.
Established in May 2016, For the Record has been dedicated to creating a vibrant and inclusive platform for artists and performers of all backgrounds. Our business revolves around organizing and hosting open mic events that provide musicians, poets, comedians, dance, and other creative talents in a supportive and engaging space to showcase their skills.
Our events are fun, fast paced, and very well organized. Guests have called For the Record “a perfect storm of art and talent”!
But that's not all...
In addition to fostering a dynamic artistic community, we enhance the experience further by incorporating a vinyl record swap element and local battle of the bands into our events, allowing attendees to share and exchange their favorite musical gems as well as see the best new up and coming local bands in the Tri-State area.

Our mission is to cultivate a collaborative environment that nurtures emerging talents, fosters artistic growth, and promotes the joy of live performances. By combining the excitement of live entertainment with the nostalgia of vinyl records, we bring together individuals who share a passion for creativity and artistic expression. Through our innovative approach, For the Record has become a focal point for cultural enrichment, artistic exploration, and the a celebration of diverse talents within our local community and beyond.
